Tedra L. Cobb is the president and owner of Tedra L. Cobb & Associates. For more than 15 years, she has focused on client success by helping individuals and teams communicate, collaborate and execute against complex business plans.
She has worked extensively with diverse organizations ranging from government, corporations, and small businesses to not-for-profit groups and individuals. Her experience is diverse but her strengths include strategic planning, program development, communication, and training.

Ms. Cobb's specific areas of expertise are program and organizational development and the presentation of highly effective, interactive educational workshops. Her clients are diverse and include manufacturers, universities, government, casinos, small businesses, and not-for-profit health and human services organizations.
Ms. Cobb holds an M.S. Ed. in Instructional Technology, specializing in Training and Development, from the State University of New York at Potsdam. She is a Certified TESOL/TEFL Instructor.
Her professional experience is diverse, ranging from bi-lingual counseling (Spanish) in the NY State prison system to directing a community-based health coalition, teaching English as a Second Language in the community and as a university Adjunct Instructor and developing and implementing International Education projects.
Ms. Cobb has served as an appointed Member of the NY State Committee on Open Government whose mission is to oversee the implementation of the Freedom of Information Law and the Open Meetings Law. In 2014, she was an appointed Member of the State of NY - North Country Health Systems Redesign Commission whose mission was to create an effective, integrated delivery system to provide preventive, medical, behavioral, and long-term care services to all communities throughout New York’s North Country.
She has also served as a Corporate Board Member of the Canton-Potsdam Hospital, as Secretary of the Board for Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley, and as a Board Member of Northern Lights Home Healthcare and GrasseRoots Donor Advised Fund. She has previously been a trustee of the St. Lawrence Leadership Institute, and a Board Member of the North Country Children's Clinic and the St. Lawrence Valley Renewal House.
She was an elected member of the St. Lawrence County Board of Legislators and served as Vice Chair, was on the Office of the Aging Advisory Board and Chaired the Government Review Committee. Ms. Cobb also served as convener for the St. Lawrence Energy Alliance, a community coalition working to assist low-income residents get safely through the winter months.
Ms. Cobb has studied, traveled, worked and volunteered in many countries including Spain, Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Morocco, China and Nicaragua. Her deep passion for learning drives her to explore new places, meet new people and make authentic connections with others.
